HOUSE IN RICHMOND PARK
This is a recreation of a cottage orné, originally the gate house to Pembroke Lodge. It is in a sensitive location, and with some architectural slight of hand, we were able to slot a fairly large family house while restoring the character of the original building.
The pictures show the “before” and “after” and the even building appears in Roger White’s recent study: “Cottages orné: The Charms of the Simple Life”.
